Sidewalk repair to correct damage caused by road surface restoration

Believing that the road and sidewalk restoration process has not yet ensured quality, with many damages appearing at the road crossing drilling locations, causing traffic safety and urban aesthetics, etc., the Department of Transport announced the temporary suspension of granting construction permits to projects constructed by Da Nang Electricity Company Limited on roads under the management of this department.

The Department of Transport requested Da Nang Electricity to review and report the cause of damage, solutions, measures to handle the contractor and commitments to not repeat the damage before considering re-issuing the construction permit.

After receiving the request from the Department of Transport, Da Nang Electricity directed contractors to repair damaged locations during underground cable construction, and re-construct previous road and sidewalk locations to ensure quality and aesthetics.
