Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Chien Thang emphasized that the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Tri province, term 2025 - 2030 is an important continuation of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; concretizing the spirit of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution, demonstrating the will, aspirations and determination of the entire political system and all classes of people in the cause of building a rich, civilized and sustainably developed Quang Tri province.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy praised and congratulated the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Tri province in the past time, contributing to creating a premise for the provincial Fatherland Front to enter the new term 2025 - 2030 with new determination and spirit.

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy noted that the province must ensure that the work of the front is given attention and deployed evenly and comprehensively, focusing more on remote areas, disadvantaged people and people with many difficulties. It is necessary for the cadres of the Front and mass organizations to be the core, close to the people, close to the grassroots, close to the digital space; to listen, dialogue, set an example, take responsibility, report results; not be formal, not avoid, not push; not do wrong functions.

Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong also emphasized a number of requirements and contents, in which the Provincial Fatherland Front needs to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, taking the people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements and campaigns associated with the practical interests of the people, bringing about specific results in each residential area.

Promote the application of digital technology and social networks to improve propaganda effectiveness; the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to promote the role of political alliance, do a good job of consultation and unification of action; promote the role of prestigious people, village elders and village chiefs in mobilizing the masses; improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, closely follow the Party's policies and resolutions, and issues of concern to the people. Continue to innovate working methods, focusing on the grassroots; build a team of Front officials at all levels with "heart - vision - prestige - responsibility", truly a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the people.

At the first session, the Congress consulted to elect the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 95 members; consulted to elect the Delegation to attend the National Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, consisting of 16 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
