Early in the morning, thousands of tourists and locals flocked to attend and admire the giant hot air balloons flying in the blue sky, creating a beautiful picture opening the festival event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification in Dong Nai .
According to the organizers, the festival will gather 50 hot air balloons symbolizing 50 years of national reunification. This is the largest hot air balloon festival ever in Vietnam. Visitors to the hot air balloon festival will have free entry, participate in flight experiences at an altitude of nearly 50m, visit the hot air balloon interior...

The highlight is the magical night of lanterns when all the hot air balloons are lit up like lanterns, shining brightly in the sky and casting shadows on the Dong Nai River with vibrant music. In addition to the main activities, the hot air balloon festival also has paragliding performances, fabric-winged airplanes, and large-scale artistic kite flying.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Duong Minh Dung, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that the Hot Air Balloon Festival is a unique cultural and tourism event, marking a new step in the strategy of promoting the image and tourism potential of Dong Nai. Thereby, building a unique tourism product brand, creating a strong attraction for a large number of people, domestic and international tourists.
“This is not only a festival of color, creativity and investment attraction, but also an opportunity for people and tourists to experience soaring moments and admire the beauty from an ideal height. I believe that this year's Hot Air Balloon Festival promises to bring a vibrant, attractive and emotional cultural and tourism space,” said Mr. Duong Minh Dung.
