Opening of the Spring Newspaper Festival with the theme "Celebrating the Party, celebrating spring, celebrating the renewed homeland"

The Spring Press Festival is a cultural and spiritual activity that has become an annual tradition of the press in the country in general and Quang Tri in particular. This is also an opportunity to honor the achievements of innovation in Quang Tri and the press nationwide, a place for journalists to meet and exchange with a large number of newspaper readers, radio listeners and television viewers, connecting the press with local authorities and businesses, creating conditions for the people to enjoy the dedicated, creative and attractive press products of the press team over the past year.

Also on this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Spring Newspaper Festival coordinated to display and promote OCOP products and typical products of Vinh Linh district. This is one of the new features of this year's Spring Newspaper Festival, creating a more joyful and meaningful spring atmosphere.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Sy, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, said: In addition to the provincial press publications, this year's Giap Thin Spring Press Festival has 200 newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and nearly 1,000 publications from central, industry and provincial newspapers across the country on display to serve readers. At the same time, it introduces and promotes historical sites, scenic spots, tourist attractions and tourism development potential, as well as creates conditions for units and production establishments in Vinh Linh district to seek opportunities, expand markets, promote production and business cooperation, introduce products; promote trade promotion, expand consumption markets for local products.

In 2023, in the context of a year full of difficulties and challenges, the severe impact of the global economic downturn, the political crisis and prolonged conflicts in a number of countries have significantly affected the economic development of the country in general, and Quang Tri province in particular. Difficulties in press activities are no exception, as the policy mechanism is increasingly tightened, the fierce competition between traditional press and new media continues to take place.
