Opening of Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024

On the evening of June 13, at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City), the opening ceremony of the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 took place. The Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 with the theme "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly" will take place from June 13 to June 16 with 200 tourism, service, trade and culinary booths. Within the framework of the festival, there will also be many attractive cultural - artistic, tourism and sports activities such as: "Hipfest Summer 2024" dance competition, "Honoring Vietnamese Identity" fashion and art show; EDM music performance; cyclo parade combined with beautiful Ao Dai performance; light flower car parade; Harley Davidson motorcycle parade; Unique Nha Trang Half Marathon...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu delivered the opening speech of the festival.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu emphasized: Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 is part of the strategy to promote Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism to promote the development of the province's key economic sector, contributing to the successful implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program on implementing Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The leaders believe that the attractive cultural - artistic, tourism - culinary, sports activities... of the festival will help domestic and international tourists feel the beauty of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, a safe, peaceful, hospitable destination, a land rich in cultural identity but also very dynamic and modern.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) highly appreciated the outstanding achievements that Khanh Hoa tourism industry has achieved over the past period, contributing positively to the overall results of Vietnam's tourism industry in recent times. At the same time, he suggested that Khanh Hoa tourism industry should continue to focus on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector with a breakthrough mindset, long-term vision, closely following Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP on the main tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery, accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development, with the motto "Unique products - Professional services - Convenient and simple procedures - Competitive prices - Clean and beautiful environment - Safe, civilized and friendly destinations". Khanh Hoa needs to soon develop into a center for high-end sea and ecological resorts and organize international events, in which Nha Trang is the central tourist city in the chain of urban areas and a tourism booster in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands, contributing more strongly to the tourism growth of the region and the whole country.

The opening night of the Sea Tourism Festival with the theme “The Quintessence of the Sea” was broadcast live by Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station, and rebroadcast by 30 television stations from provinces and cities. The program opened with the theme song “Bright Pearl Bay” composed by singer Hien VK specifically for the festival. After the opening ceremony, singers Dam Vinh Hung, Tang Duy Tan, Van Mai Huong, Duong Trieu Vu, Hien VK and Dung Azu performed songs about the sea with vibrant and cheerful music: Sea of love, Words of love, Nha Trang on a new day, Entering summer, Miraculous wings… The program also had the participation of artists and actors from Dak Lak.

On the opening night, Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Chairman of Khanh Hoa - Saigon Business Club presented charity houses and scholarships to poor students with a total value of 815 million VND to people and students in Van Ninh district, Ninh Hoa town. Ms. Thanh Lan (Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city) presented 60 gifts with a total value of 120 million VND to poor and studious students in Dien Khanh district.
