On the evening of September 6th, the Street Culture Month, themed "Lam Dong - Gathering the Quintessence, Connecting Emotions," took place in Phan Thiet ward. This was the main activity within the "Lam Dong Province Tourism Destination Experience Month 2025" program organized by the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On the first night, the grounds of the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center attracted hundreds of local residents and tourists from within and outside the province to visit and experience the area.
The most attractive area is the food stalls, which bring together the culinary essence of all three regions of Vietnam, featuring regional specialties such as Ha Long squid cake, palm sugar rice cake, My Tho noodle soup, fresh seafood from Phan Thiet, and especially stalls showcasing Laotian and Thai cuisine…
In addition, the space also recreates traditional cultural features through models of traditional craft villages such as: farming, pottery making, making clay figurines, etc., combined with areas for displaying and selling consumer products and handicrafts.
Throughout the event, there was a vibrant street art program featuring energetic dance performances, modern pop music, and lion dance drumming, offering a rich musical experience for viewers. Audiences not only watched but also immersed themselves in the street festival atmosphere by participating.

Tourist Phan Ngoc Minh from Ho Chi Minh City shared: “I stumbled upon the event on social media and decided to attend. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, the space was clean, and there were many activities for children.”
Local authorities implemented measures to ensure security and order, manage traffic flow, and maintain environmental cleanliness throughout the event.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, the Street Culture Month will take place from September 6th to October 5th, focusing on weekends in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Phu Thuy, Tien Thanh wards and Hoa Thang commune. The highlight of the event will be the "Lam Dong Delicacies Space."
This event will be held on weekends at the following locations: Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (Mui Ne Ward), the grounds of the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition Center (Phan Thiet Ward), the NovaWorld Phan Thiet area (Tien Thanh Ward), and the Bau Trang tourist area (Hoa Thang Commune).
Here, locals and tourists will have the opportunity to discover the unique culinary delights of Lam Dong and other regions across the country; while also enjoying a souvenir shop and a showcase of abundant local products reflecting the distinct regional identity.
Alongside this is a series of unique street art and music programs featuring folk songs, traditional music and dance, folk games, etc., promising to bring a vibrant, intimate, and community-connecting atmosphere.
The 2025 Street Culture Month is not only a series of large-scale cultural and tourism events, but also an opportunity for Lam Dong to affirm its position as a dynamic and creative destination, contributing to the development of unique tourism products and stimulating the tourism market; while simultaneously preserving and promoting traditional cultural values and enhancing the image of Lam Dong tourism to domestic and international tourists.
