The Culture, Sports and Tourism Week of Tua Chua district is organized with many attractive and unique activities, including: Displaying and introducing typical local products and performing intangible cultural heritage for ethnic minorities; competing in traditional sports of ethnic minorities and experiencing folk games; competing in ethnic cuisine , experiencing the space of the night market, Tua Chua market, etc.
In his opening speech, Mr. Luong Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee affirmed that the District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week is one of the annual events, which has become a typical cultural and tourism product with its own identity and brand of Tua Chua district. Through a series of activities at the Cultural Week, it aims to introduce and promote cultural values and types of eco-tourism, community tourism, typical agricultural products; contribute to preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity, natural resources for tourism development; gradually form and develop typical local tourism products. Thereby, realizing the goal and task of striving for Tua Chua to become a National Tourist Area as per the Project on tourism development of Dien Bien province to 2025 with a vision to 2030 approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
