On the evening of June 28, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa City inaugurated Phan Chu Trinh walking street and Lam Son Square cultural space. This is one of the important events in the series of cultural, sports and tourism events of the province in 2024.

Phan Chu Trinh walking street and Lam Son Square cultural space include 4 spaces. The first space: Lam Son Square is the central area, where cultural activities, music , sports, fashion shows, games, folk performances, street art... take place.
The second space includes Ly Nhan Tong, Ho Xuan Huong and Nguyen Don Tiet streets (in which Ly Nhan Tong street is decorated with the theme of conical hat space; Ho Xuan Huong street with the theme of Hoi An space; Nguyen Don Tiet street with the theme of colorful space).
Third space: part of Phan Chu Trinh street is the central space of the walking street, introducing traditional handicraft products, gemstones, feng shui stones... and OCOP products in and outside the province.
Fourth space: Children's play area, fast food and beverage kiosks, at the fountain area west of Lam Son Square and the clock tower.
Walking street is held every Friday and Saturday evening and on major holidays of the year (not held on Lunar New Year).
Comrade Tran Anh Chung, Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee delivered a welcome speech at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Chung, Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, said: Phan Chu Trinh walking street and Lam Son Square cultural space are places to contribute to introducing and promoting traditional cultural beauty, along with Thanh Hoa's culinary culture and OCOP products, small-scale handicrafts of the province... to a large number of people and tourists. This is also a destination for people and tourists to enjoy the fresh air, shop, eat and drink, enjoy street art, and admire the night scene of Thanh Hoa City.
He requested that service businesses in the walking street should implement good business culture; focus on diversifying products and goods to ensure quality, serving the needs of tourists and residents well. Along with that, strictly implement regulations, rules, and operating regulations, showing that this place is a cultural destination, leaving a good impression in the hearts of residents and visitors when coming to Thanh Hoa City.
