
At the program, doctors and nurses directly propagated and disseminated knowledge about health care, provided screening and advice on how to care for, clean, and protect people's health; provided free medicine to 200 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged people in the commune. The total cost was 20 million VND.
On this occasion, the Bao Thang District Red Cross also used its fund to provide financial support to 5 poor and near-poor households (VND3 million each) to invest in pig farming. (Photo below)

The program is part of a series of peak activities of the program "Humanitarian journey - giving and receiving love", responding to Humanitarian Month 2024 launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society .
The program brings positive results, contributing to joining hands with the community to take care of people's health, especially the poor and people in difficult circumstances in remote areas.
