The project “Love Vietnam” is being implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with technology partners in provinces and cities across the country. By March 31, the project had completed the installation of NFC chip boards (wireless connection technology) at historical, cultural and tourist sites in Lam Dong province.
The project is a practical activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and to promote historical and cultural sites across the country, contributing to promoting Vietnam's tourism development.
In Lam Dong, Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company, a partner with Nhan Dan Newspaper, implemented the project "Love Vietnam" at 3 locations, including: Lam Dong Museum, Da Lat Children's Prison National Monument (Da Lat city) and Cat Tien Archaeological Special National Monument (Da Huoai district).
The chip-mounted boards are designed in two colors, yellow and red, inspired by the Vietnamese national flag, and operate automatically without requiring power.
The chip-embedded panels are designed in two colors, yellow and red, inspired by the Vietnamese national flag, and operate automatically without requiring a power source. When arriving at the above destinations, visitors using smartphones to interact with the NFC chip-embedded panels will be certified to have checked-in at the location, save personal photos, and receive useful information about the location, monument or destination.
Each chip-embedded board will provide stories, images, videos or 3D models of the location or monument where the chip-embedded board is located; at the same time, it provides search, navigation and information features to explore tourist destinations at the current location and neighboring areas. When visitors experience all the chip-embedded points in a locality, they will receive gifts from the program and a digital certificate upon completion of their exploration there.

Project Manager of Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company Tran Minh Tuan informed: “This is an authentication system, when tourists check-in at a destination, the system will save it. The utility of the project “Love Vietnam” has a “digital wall” so that people can save memories at the destination, those who come later can see those who have checked-in at this destination. Tourists can take pictures and save them, leave messages, or tell stories, and enjoy the destination”.
In the coming time, the project will develop more new challenge games for tourists to check-in, as well as optimize features to serve tourism, such as: guiding and supporting the flow of visitors to other locations when a location is too crowded; informing tourists about important events in localities... The project will also standardize the content to translate into other languages, contributing to promoting and introducing Vietnamese tourism to the world.

Tourists come to the "red address" of the National Monument of Da Lat Children's Prison.
Dalat Children's Prison National Monument: Located on a high hill, near the scenic Than Tho Lake, overlooking the majestic Lang Biang Mountain. Dalat Children's Prison was built by the old regime from 1971-1973, with the name "Dalat Children's Education Center". However, this "center" is actually a children's prison, fully demonstrating the nature of an imperial prison.
This special prison once held more than 600 revolutionary-minded children aged 12-17, gathered from all prisons in the South at that time, with the aim of isolating, suppressing, and eventually eliminating the revolutionary spirit of the young generation in the South. Here, heroic struggles took place, demonstrating the heroic and indomitable qualities of Vietnamese youth in the common struggle of the entire nation for independence, freedom, and national reunification.
Veterans "return to their roots" and visit the National Monument of Da Lat Children's Prison.
The national relic of Da Lat Children's Prison (1971-1973) has now become a meaningful destination, a "red address" in educating revolutionary ideals, patriotic traditions, and national pride for the young generation.
