This coming July, visitors to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will have the opportunity to explore the art of brocade weaving of the ethnic groups in the Village, and some rituals and festivals will be recreated in the program of activities called "Brocade Colors".

In the Village, groups of artisans living daily still preserve and develop traditional crafts, including brocade weaving. Brocade weaving carries indigenous knowledge, life skills, and knowledge accumulated from hundreds of years of life of the people. Maintaining brocade weaving also brings beauty, unique colors and experience space for visitors.

The Brocade Weaving Demonstration Program of Ethnic Groups at the Village with the theme “The Color of Time” introduces weaving forms such as traditional brocade weaving of the Thai and Muong ethnic groups; linen weaving of the H'Mong ethnic group; Zeng weaving - a national intangible cultural heritage recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Ta Oi ethnic group; traditional weaving of the Central Highlands of the Ba Na and Ede ethnic groups, traditional embroidery of the Khmer and Southern ethnic groups.
Visitors are introduced to the weaving profession and its typical products, experience the weaving process of artisans; participate in one of the stages of the process and buy products woven by the locals to better understand the cultural value of the communities created by the products.
Along with that is a program of experiencing traditional culture associated with ethnic minority spaces such as performances, performances of ethnic musical instruments, traditional folk games, exchanges with ethnic minorities, participating in some stages of traditional crafts, experiencing types of performances, performances of ethnic musical instruments, traditional folk games...

On weekends, the Village organizes the Rain Bathing Robe Offering Ceremony, also known as the Rains-Entering Ceremony, a ritual that dates back to the time of the Buddha, before monks enter the three-month rainy season retreat and are allowed to receive the "Rain Bathing Robe" to use during their stay.
One of the interesting activities at the Village that visitors always enjoy is learning about the culinary culture and enjoying special dishes: steamed sticky rice, chicken cooked with bamboo shoots, steamed snakehead fish, steamed vegetables, grilled fish, pork dishes, colored sticky rice... of the Muong ethnic group; steamed chicken, grilled chicken... of the Kho Mu ethnic group; wild honey, pollen, coffee, cocoa... of the E De ethnic group; meat stew, fish stewed with sour bamboo shoots, Chinese sausage, smoked meat, stuffed bamboo shoots... of the Tay ethnic group; grilled fish, grilled chicken, colored sticky rice... of the Thai ethnic group, other activities: tea picking, weaving, making musical instruments, weaving handicrafts, brewing wine, processing traditional medicine...
In addition, there are daily and weekend activities, homestay tourism programs, culinary experiences, folk games... to introduce the culture, customs and practices of the ethnic groups, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups, attracting visitors to the Cultural and Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
