According to the decision approving the adjustment, the total natural area of Hiep Duc district is about 496.875 km². Regarding the forecast of population size, by 2030 it will be about 48,000 people. Of which the urban population is about 21,500 people and the rural population is about 26,500 people.
Regarding urban land scale, by 2030, it will be about 4,529 hectares, including the total natural area of the new urban area of Viet An (about 2,212 hectares) and Tan Binh town (about 2,317 hectares).
With the decision approving the adjustment of Nam Tra My, the total natural area of the district is about 826.38 km². The population size by 2030 is about 33,900 people (of which, the urban population is about 6,000 people, the rural population is about 27,900 people). The urban land size by 2030 of Nam Tra My is about 10,309 hectares.
Also according to the decision, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of Hiep Duc district and Nam Tra My district to urgently coordinate with the Department of Construction to complete the work of preparing, submitting for appraisal and approval of the Construction Planning Project for these two districts for the period up to 2030 according to legal regulations.
