Survey for admission to grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia School on June 16

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will enroll 350 6th grade students, equal to the target of the previous school year.

Students who have completed primary school in Ho Chi Minh City and have a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of each subject of Vietnamese and Math in grade 5 will be eligible to apply. The registration process for grade 6 admission at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is as follows:

Parents can access and register for admission at: https://www.thcsthpttrandainghia.edu.vn. After filling in all the registration information, the system will send the survey registration form to the parents' email address. Next, parents will download the form, print, sign and attach a photo of the student (3x4 photo, wearing school uniform) to bring with them when receiving the survey participation card at school.

Candidates will take a 90-minute aptitude test on June 16, 2025, consisting of 2 parts:

Multiple choice part: 20 multiple choice questions (to be done in 30 minutes); Essay part (to be done in 60 minutes) includes 3 parts: English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing): students do the test in English; Math and logical thinking ability test: students do the test in Vietnamese; Reading and writing ability test: students do the test in Vietnamese.

4,301 students registered for grade 6 admission for the 2024-2025 school year

In the 2024-2025 school year, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School has 4,301 students registered for grade 6, while the enrollment quota is 350. The competition ratio is 1/12.

It is known that the enrollment target for the 2024-2025 school year has decreased significantly compared to before the school separation. The previous target of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted was usually 535 6th grade students.
