Think different, do new
Taking over TL Tech Vina Co., Ltd. (Tan My Industrial Park, Tien Phong Ward) with a manual production line system, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien (born in 1988), General Director of the Company, is determined to innovate technology. The company specializes in manufacturing surfaces for electronic components such as phone screens, cameras, headphones, chargers, and processing for partners of Samsung, Hong Hai... and many electronic enterprises in other provinces and cities. Since 2019, the Company has invested in 2 automatic machines for surface processing of various materials such as plastic, metal and then increased to 10 machines. The capacity has increased more than 100 times compared to manual work but only requires 2 people at the beginning and end of the line. Thanks to that, the Company's revenue has increased, reaching an average of about 30 billion VND/year, creating regular jobs for more than 60 workers. More importantly, the new generation of machinery produces products with high precision, meeting the strict requirements of large customers.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien expressed: “The technology market is quite open now, finding a solution and equipment supplier is not difficult, but the problem is that businesses must choose the right solution with the right capacity and have economic resources. For example, with each production line investing about 500 million VND, newly established businesses find it difficult to have immediate investment capital. However, I think investing in technology innovation is an inevitable step when we are gradually growing with our partners who are foreign invested enterprises”.
Choosing to start a business in a field that few young people dare to invest in, Mr. Le Anh Tung (born in 1991), Director of Luxdafa International Hospital Limited Liability Company (Vo Cuong Ward) shared about his decision: “Private healthcare is being encouraged to develop to help reduce the burden on public healthcare and expand access to high-quality services for people. From my own experience and market demand, in 2024, I established a clinic with the most advanced equipment. The clinic has 6 functional departments, the medical examination process is quick and effective”. However, Mr. Tung also commented that healthcare is a very difficult field to start a business because it requires high expertise and large investment capital. The machinery system alone costs more than 20 billion VND - a not small amount for young people who do not have accumulated capital.
The province currently has tens of thousands of registered businesses, many of which are private businesses founded by young people. It can be said that the young generation of entrepreneurs has many advantages thanks to their ability to access new knowledge, take advantage of technology and connect globally. Start-ups in the fields of technology, smart agriculture , digital healthcare or e-commerce are contributing to building a more modern and dynamic economy. Based on the acquired knowledge and their own spirit of daring to think and dare to do, young entrepreneurs have applied techniques and technology to improve products and production processes.
Need support resources
Although the Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings many opportunities, young entrepreneurs and businesses still face countless challenges. These include fierce competition from large enterprises, enterprises that have positioned the market or the emergence of new emerging fields. Most young entrepreneurs face barriers such as lack of capital, lack of management experience and complicated administrative procedures.
Having won the title of outstanding young entrepreneur, Nguyen Thanh Liem (born in 1988), Director of Liem Anh High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative (Viet Doan commune) shared: “After nearly 10 years of starting a business, investing in greenhouse systems, net houses, and biotechnology to innovate farming methods, we still face many difficulties. In particular, the historic storm Yagi damaged 4,000 m2 of greenhouses for growing black grapes, with total losses of about 5-6 billion VND. The agricultural sector is at high risk due to natural disasters and epidemics. We hope that local authorities and relevant agencies will have support measures, especially in terms of preferential loans.”
Meanwhile, TL Tech Vina Co., Ltd. is facing difficulties in production space. “Recently, we had to move the entire factory with an area of over 1,000 m2 along with many equipment and machines because the old location in Nenh ward is no longer leased land. We hope that the local government and relevant agencies will create conditions for us to have a long-term space with a large area in the industrial park so that we can feel secure in production,” General Director Nguyen Thanh Bien expressed.
Accompanying businesses, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Startup Investment Club, commented: “Although there are many policies as a support, the startup journey in Bac Ninh still has many challenges. Some startup support policies are still unrealistic, making them difficult to implement. Support services on training, consulting, market access; preferential capital, high-quality human resources... for startups are still limited.”
With the Central Government issuing 4 key, breakthrough resolutions to bring the country into a new era (resolutions 57, 59, 66, 68), young entrepreneurs expect to have barriers removed and make a strong breakthrough. Most of them want to access mechanisms and policies to encourage innovative startups, improve science and technology, and invest in modern production lines to improve production and business efficiency.
