Dien Ban Police rewarded for arresting many cases of robbery and theft | QUANG NAM ONLINE NEWSPAPER

(QNO) - On the morning of May 17, Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee - Tran Uc came to encourage and award the Dien Ban Town Police, the Town Police Criminal Police Team and 6 individuals for their achievements in arresting robbers and property thieves in the past time.

Previously, on April 5, Dien Ban Town Police and Dien Minh Ward Police urgently arrested Phan Xuan Hien (born 2005, Dien An Ward, Dien Ban) and Tran Van Doanh (born 2005, Dien Minh Ward) for robbery. The two subjects confessed to committing 12 other robberies in Dien Ban (10 cases) and Duy Xuyen (2 cases).

At noon on April 6, the town police coordinated with Dien Nam Trung ward police to investigate and urgently arrest Phan Huu Nghi (born in 1988, Thua Thien Hue ) and temporarily seized the evidence of 3 mobile phones that the subject had just stolen at Vinh Duc General Hospital when the subject was preparing to get on a passenger bus to escape.

On May 9, the town police arrested Nguyen Van Vu (born in 1992, Dak Lak province) for robbery in Dien Hoa commune. During the investigation, Vu confessed to having committed 3 previous robberies.

Regarding the above cases, up to now, the police have prosecuted 8 defendants, temporarily detained 6 subjects and are expanding the investigation.
