Commencement of the project to expand and renovate the road connecting Tran Nhan Tong Street to the intersection with the North-South Expressway, Ninh Phuc Ward

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to expand and renovate the road connecting Tran Nhan Tong Street to the intersection with the North-South Expressway, Ninh Phuc Ward.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Hoa Lu City Party Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches.

The project to expand and renovate the connecting road section from Tran Nhan Tong Street to the intersection with the North-South Expressway, Ninh Phuc Ward was approved by the City People's Council in Resolution No. 15 dated March 1, 2024 and the City People's Committee approved the project in Decision No. 1000 dated February 26, 2025, with a connecting road scale of about 700m long, 40m wide roadbed, 24m wide road surface; connecting to the intersection with the North-South Expressway with a roadbed scale of 67m wide, 33m wide main road surface, and 6.5m wide on both sides. The road surface is paved with asphalt concrete to ensure uniformity and smoothness.

On the route, synchronous investment in technical items includes: sidewalks, drainage system, technical trenches, lighting, trees, landscape, organization of 2 traffic intersections with Tran Nhan Tong and Ninh Ton streets. The total investment of the project is 150 billion VND.

After a period of active implementation, the project has now completed legal procedures and fully prepared the conditions for commencement.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the leader of Hoa Lu city emphasized: This is the second project that Hoa Lu city has organized to start construction to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

The completed project will contribute to improving traffic infrastructure, shortening travel time, reducing the load on inner-city roads, and opening up new development space for Ninh Phuc ward and neighboring areas. This route not only has traffic significance, but is also an important driving force to promote socio -economic development, attract investment, create jobs and improve the quality of life for local people.

Therefore, it is recommended that the investor and the construction unit focus resources, means, human resources, and construct scientifically and resolutely to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality and technique; and put the project into operation and effective use soon. At the same time, the people within the scope of influence of the project coordinate, agree, and support the site clearance work, creating favorable conditions for the construction unit to complete the project on schedule.
