Prosecution of land fund center officials for beating people after traffic collision in Hanoi

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Nguyen Huy Van, an officer of the Land Fund Development Center of Thach That District, Hanoi, has just been prosecuted for beating another driver after a traffic collision.

On February 5, a leader of the People's Procuracy of Thach That district, Hanoi, said that the unit had approved the decision to prosecute Mr. Nguyen Huy Van, an officer of the Land Fund Development Center of Thach That district, for the crime of disturbing public order.

Previously, on January 22, in Thach Hoa commune, Thach That district, Mr. Van drove his car and crashed into the back of a pickup truck driven by Mr. Th. (from Phu Tho).

Mr. Van then got out of the car and cursed, while hitting Mr. Th. many times in the face. The young man from Phu Tho did not fight back. The incident only stopped when people intervened and called the traffic police to the scene.

After the incident, the Land Fund Development Center of Thach That district also suspended Mr. Van from work.
