The above information was announced by the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency on the evening of September 22. This is a new development in the investigation of the "Receiving bribes" case that occurred in Thai Nguyen province and several other provinces and cities.
Accordingly, based on the investigation results of the "Receiving bribes" case that occurred in Thai Nguyen and a number of provinces and cities, on the same evening, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to supplement the decision to prosecute the criminal case of "Giving bribes" that occurred in Thai Nguyen and a number of provinces and cities.
On the same day, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute and issue an arrest warrant for temporary detention against Vu Hong Quang (born in 1977, former Deputy Head of the Air Transport Department, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Ministry of Transport ).

According to the prosecution, the defendant Quang is the defendant in the case of "Bribery, bribery brokerage, bribery acceptance, abuse of position while performing official duties, fraud to appropriate property" that occurred at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hanoi and other provinces and cities. At the first instance verdict, Mr. Quang was sentenced by the Hanoi People's Court to 4 years in prison for the crime of "Accepting bribes".
In addition to prosecuting and issuing an arrest warrant for defendant Vu Hong Quang, the Security Investigation Agency also prosecuted and detained Vu Hoang Dung (born in 1987, self-employed). Both defendants were prosecuted for the crime of "Giving bribes" under Article 364 of the Penal Code.
Regarding the case that occurred in Thai Nguyen province, the Security Investigation Agency also prosecuted the accused, issued a ban on leaving the place of residence, and a search warrant for the residence and workplace of Nguyen Manh Cuong (born in 1977, currently Head of the E-commerce Department, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company); Tran Thanh Nha (born in 1991, freelance worker) and Dang Nhat Duc (born in 1975, Director of Top Agent Japan Co., Ltd.) for the crime of "Giving bribes" as prescribed in Article 364 of the Penal Code.
After the Supreme People's Procuracy approved, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Security Agency served the Procedural Decisions on the defendant with the above background.
The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency is expanding the investigation into the case to strictly handle it according to the law.
