Previously, at around 7:33 a.m. on June 3, Call Center 114 - Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a wooden furniture processing workshop in Lien Ha craft village, located in Chau Phong village, Lien Ha commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Command Information Center mobilized 3 fire trucks from the Dong Anh Fire Prevention and Rescue Team; 2 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 1; 2 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 3 along with officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to organize fire fighting, rescue and relief. At the same time, the authorities mobilized 2 excavators, 1 water tanker of Dong Anh Urban Environment Joint Stock Company and deployed a pump to draw water from Chau Phong village lake to serve the fire fighting work.
At the scene, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police deployed a firefighting team; organized to extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring areas. At the same time, closely coordinated with local authorities and people to organize the evacuation and rescue of assets from the dangerous area.
At around 8:20 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely controlled and extinguished by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby houses and commercial properties. The fire caused one person to suffer burns to his hand and was taken to Dong Anh Hospital for a medical examination. The property damage is being counted and clarified by the authorities in coordination with local authorities. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified in accordance with the provisions of law.
