Previously, at 11:00 p.m. on June 4, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police received a report that four people, including Mr. Ho Van Then; Mr. Ho Trieu Phu; Vuong Quoc Tri and Le Dinh Quan (all residing in Hong Ha commune, A Luoi district) were trapped in the middle of A A stream, Paring - Can Sam village, Hong Ha commune due to rising floodwaters from upstream.

To promptly conduct rescue operations, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police mobilized 1 command vehicle, 1 fire truck, 1 rescue vehicle and 18 officers and soldiers to the scene.
At 11:45 p.m. on June 4, the rescue force arrived at the scene. Through reconnaissance and understanding the situation, at this time the stream water was flowing very strongly, and the 4 trapped people were at risk of being swept away by the water. With a sense of urgency, the Fire Police and Rescue Force coordinated with the Hong Ha Commune Police to quickly deploy the rescue team, using ropes, life jackets and specialized equipment to approach the area where the trapped people were.

At 1:15 a.m. on June 5, the rescue force reached the victims' location. Upon arriving at the scene, it was learned that the health and mental state of the people in the car were basically stable, so the officers and soldiers put life jackets on 4 people, created a rope bridge, and deployed to bring the victims safely to shore.

By 1:35 a.m. on June 5, the rescue force had brought all four people safely ashore and handed them over to Hong Ha Commune Police to continue handling the case. The rescue operation ensured absolute safety for officers, people and vehicles.
