Civil servants of the One-Stop-Shop Department of Muong Cha District People's Committee handle administrative procedures for people.

From early morning on June 23, the One-Stop-Shop of Muong Cha District People's Committee was crowded with people coming to handle administrative procedures. Despite the large number of documents, the officers and civil servants here still enthusiastically welcomed and guided the process quickly and effectively.

Ms. Quàng Thị Ngân, an officer of the One-Stop Shop of the Mường Chà District People's Committee, said: Due to the preparation for the end of the district level, in recent days, the number of citizens coming to resolve administrative procedures has increased compared to the previous period. In order not to affect the quality of work, we always adhere to the spirit of working seriously, quickly, effectively, and best serving the people and businesses; not to interrupt work, not to leave fields and areas vacant. The One-Stop Shop also proactively reviews work, records, and documents to hand over according to the instructions of superiors before ending district-level activities.

From June 1 to 20, the One-stop shop of Muong Cha District People's Committee and the People's Committees of 12 communes and towns in the district received 193 applications; of which 155 were online, the rest were direct applications, postal services. Up to now, 189 applications have been processed, the rest will be completed before July 1.

Not only the one-stop shop, but also the party building committees, specialized departments, cadres, civil servants and public employees all uphold the sense of responsibility and determination to successfully complete political tasks in this challenging transitional period. As soon as the policy of abolishing the district level was announced, cadres and civil servants from district to commune actively worked overtime, even on holidays to keep up with the progress. In addition, the work of arranging the organizational apparatus was also thoroughly implemented under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of Muong Cha District Party Committee said: Although the district-level operation time is only a matter of days, we still work with the highest sense of responsibility, without distraction or hesitation. Many files and records have been checked and carefully packaged by officers and civil servants of relevant departments, preparing for handover and storage according to regulations.

In the process of arranging commune-level administrative units and abolishing district-level activities, Muong Cha does not let the idea of “letting go of work” happen; even if there is still a day of district-level activities, the task must be completed in the most effective way. Muong Cha district has just deployed preparations for merging commune-level administrative units; at the same time, it is speeding up the completion of previously set tasks, with the goal of completing them before the district level stops operating.

In addition to carrying out the tasks of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus in accordance with regulations and policies, Muong Cha also identified the important task of focusing on effectively implementing key programs and projects of the district. Therein, implementing flexible and creative solutions to promote disbursement of public investment capital, clearly identifying the causes of slow disbursement of each project to promptly resolve them according to authority; continuing to resolutely direct compensation and site clearance work; making efforts and determination to achieve the set growth target. Focusing on ensuring national defense and security, especially in border areas; continuing to lead and direct the preparation for congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030 under the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees.
