Mr. Bui Thanh Thuy, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Consumer Protection Association, said that the Association is perfecting its organization in localities to ensure synchronization with the state management apparatus, without changing the role and functions of the Association.

“Despite changes in administrative boundaries, the need for consumer advice, support and protection always exists, and even increases as the market develops and consumer behavior becomes more diverse,” Mr. Bui Thanh Thuy informed.

Therefore, the focus in adjusting the organization of the association is to ensure that consumers in any location have easy access to policies to protect their interests.

The Association enhances the application of information technology in receiving and handling complaints. When business processes are digitized and data is centrally managed, complaint handling no longer depends too much on geographical distance or organizational dispersion, but is faster and more transparent.

In addition, the work of propagating and disseminating the law continues to be maintained regularly, with many diverse forms, suitable for each target group.

In the first 6 months of 2025, training programs, seminars, and thematic discussions will not only help raise people's legal awareness, but also be a channel for businesses and social organizations to accompany the Association in building a healthy consumer environment.

In particular, focusing on disseminating the law to vulnerable consumer groups and people in remote areas contributes practically to raising awareness and proactively preventing risks.
