Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space was built in Soi Vang hamlet, Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city, which is considered the center of the specialty tea region. The project was started on the occasion of Thai Nguyen organizing the first International Tea Festival in 2011, with the meaning of a cultural institution specializing in tea.
With a scale of over 1.6 hectares, the main building has two floors with a construction area of 1,000m². In addition to the architectural space, the project also includes an outdoor stage, a grass field for organizing tea festivals, a landscaped tea hill, a cluster of ceramic tea set sculptures... creating an attractive cultural - tourist complex, in harmony with the natural landscape of the midland region.
Tan Cuong Tea Culture Space is the main exhibition space with many special topics. Among them, there is a space to recreate a miniature model of Tan Cuong tea hills, a collection of traditional teapots and cups, and artifacts recording Guinness records for tea culture through Tea Festivals.

A special area introduces the history of the formation and development of Thai Nguyen tea growing and processing, with documents, images, and artifacts reflecting the process of labor, creation, and preservation of tradition. This area also introduces the tea processing process from traditional to modern manual.
Visitors can see all kinds of tea picking, drying and kneading tools, models of industrial processing machines, along with a series of documentary photos of tea festivals and trade and tourism promotion activities associated with tea.
In addition, there is also an area introducing images of leaders of the Party, State and Thai Nguyen province visiting famous tea regions, thereby demonstrating the attention of all levels to the development of the tea industry.
As of 2025, Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space is preserving nearly 400 documents, artifacts, thematic photos and hundreds of tea product samples from enterprises, cooperatives and typical craft villages in the province. These collections help to portray a complete picture of the land, people and tea making industry of Thai Nguyen - the place known as "The first famous tea" of the country.

Not only a static display place, the project also serves performance and experientialeducation activities such as tea picking competitions, traditional tea roasting demonstrations, tea craft seminars, exchanges between artisans and students...
