Through 3 main parts: Hanoi hears the news of victory, Marching to Saigon, The country after reunification, the audience is led through a flow of emotions, reliving the historical atmosphere of the day the country was reunited, while deeply feeling the spirit of continuity and responsibility of today's generation for the fate of the country.

The special and touching highlight of Triumphal Song is the realistic and emotional re-enactment of two historic victory news reports, which were broadcast and engraved in the memories of millions of Vietnamese people in late April and early May 1975.

These are not just ordinary press reports, but have become "linguistic milestones", vivid media legacies, echoing like the bell of freedom and independence of the entire nation.

The audience was moved when hearing the two victory news again.

The first news bulletin, broadcast at noon on April 30, 1975 from the Voice of Vietnam in Hanoi, with the heart-touching voice of announcer Tuyet Mai, sent the first confident, proud message from the heart of the Capital to the entire nation: “This is the voice of Vietnam, broadcasting from Hanoi, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Faced with the overwhelming attack of our army and people, the enemy was forced to lay down their weapons and surrender unconditionally…”.

With just a few short sentences, the news has encapsulated the joy and excitement of millions of Vietnamese people.

By the evening of May 1, 1975, a second news bulletin rang out, this time not from Hanoi, but from the very land of Saigon that had just been liberated. Saigon Liberation Radio and Television, in its first broadcast after taking over, broadcast a news bulletin with the mission of opening a new era for the city: “This is Saigon Liberation Radio and Television, broadcasting from Saigon, greetings to our beloved compatriots… At 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, our heroic and glorious city was liberated…”.

Two news bulletins – one from the capital Hanoi in the North, one from the newly liberated Saigon in the South – resounded like two great heartbeats of the entire nation in unison on the day of national reunification.

The emotion was further amplified when the audience of the political art night had a direct interaction with Meritorious Artist Ha Phuong - former Head of the VOV Broadcasting Department. As one of the broadcasters who directly worked and witnessed the special working atmosphere at the Voice of Vietnam Radio Broadcasting Room at 39 Ba Trieu Street (Hanoi) on the historic day of April 30, 1975, his sharing brought a realistic and intimate perspective of that important moment.

At the age of 84, although his memory is no longer intact over time, Meritorious Artist Ha Phuong affirms that he cannot forget the great days of the nation and the country. He recounts the "24/7 on-duty" working atmosphere of the Voice of Vietnam radio announcers in the final days of the resistance war.

They eat and sleep in their office, which is only about 15 square meters, without leave or compensatory time off, and are on duty day and night to update and broadcast war news. Especially the "breaking news" - extremely important news, without jingle, without introduction, read directly on the air as soon as the information reaches them.

Fully aware of the historical importance of that moment, the leader of the station at that time - comrade Tran Lam - requested the selection of the best voices, typically Announcer Nguyen Tho with his powerful commentary voice and especially Announcer Tuyet Mai - who Meritorious Artist Ha Phuong affirmed that until now no one can replace her in terms of female voice quality.

It was those golden voices that had the honor of making the historic victory news on April 30, 1975, along with the commentary written by comrade Tran Phuong.

In addition to historical news and stories, Triumphant Song also takes the audience back to the past through valuable documentary footage. These include images of Hanoi streets bursting with joy on April 30, 1975, and images of Saigon in the early days of liberation with an equally jubilant atmosphere.

The images of generals and leaders from the North and South meeting in the City named after Uncle Ho in the first days of national reunification - the bright smiles and tight hugs of those who fought together for today's day of peace were touching.

The art performances in the program were elaborately staged, serving as an emotional bridge between the past and the present, such as Like having Uncle Ho on the great victory day, The storm has risen, Mother loves her child - Liberation of the South, Walking in the brilliant sky,... performed by artists including Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Dong Hung, and the Oplus group...

Singer Dong Hung performed the mashup “Marching to Saigon – Spring in Ho Chi Minh City” in the program “Song of Triumph”. The special highlight of the performance was Dong Hung singing along with an old recording by VOV.

The most impressive part is the "historical dialogue" between singer Dong Hung and the original recording of the song "Marching to Saigon" which was broadcast on April 30, 1975. It is a meaningful moment when the past and present meet, with emotions blending in each verse, making the audience both reminisce about history and feel the vitality of the present.

Each artist participating in the program brought performances with a strong personal touch, demonstrating creativity in reinterpreting revolutionary songs, but all aimed at a common message: being grateful for the glorious past, living responsibly for a bright future.

The program ended with the song "Vietnam, let's continue", which sounded like a spirited call to arms, sending to today's generation a reminder that the journey of national construction is still ongoing, requiring joint efforts, unanimity and constant efforts for a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
