According to the regulations of tournaments under the Asian Volleyball Federation system, the organizing committee must conduct random alcohol tests on referees on duty.
All members of the refereeing team are tested for alcohol levels 45 minutes before the match. Referees must ensure that they do not use stimulants, including alcoholic beverages, before performing their duties. This ensures that the tournament's "judging team" is as alert as possible during the matches. General health checks are also conducted on the refereeing team.
Referees at the Asian Club Volleyball Championship must be tested for alcohol concentration.
In addition, strict medical requirements are also imposed on all athletes participating in the tournament. They must be present according to the tournament's scheduled countdown time and be ready for doping tests.
