The entire Ma Li Pho commune has 22 temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be “erased”, of which 21 need to be newly built and 1 needs to be repaired. Up to now, 7 houses have been completed, and 15 houses are being simultaneously deployed.

According to the plan, Lai Chau province must complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses before June 25, 2025. With the determination, enthusiastic participation and responsibility of officers and soldiers of Ma Lu Thang Border Guard Station and with the current progress, it is likely that Ma Li Pho commune will reach the finish line early in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the border area.

The working group inspected the progress of removing temporary houses at the families supported by Ma Lu Thang Border Guard Station.

During the working trip, the delegation directly visited and encouraged families who were supported to remove temporary and dilapidated houses. The delegation highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, efforts and endeavors of the officers and soldiers of Ma Lu Thang Border Guard Station who have done a good job of coordinating with local Party committees and authorities in implementing the task of removing temporary houses, contributing to improving the lives of people in the border area.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard emphasized: The elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses not only has social security significance, but is also an "unspoken order" from the heart of each officer and soldier of the Provincial Border Guard and the whole country "joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind". This is an important political task contributing to strengthening the people's border defense posture, maintaining stability in the border area.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard and comrades in the working delegation encouraged poor households to try to overcome difficulties.

He requested the Party Committee and Commander of Ma Lu Thang Border Guard Station to do a better job of coordinating with the Party Committee, local authorities, and families, and increase forces to the area; overcome the sun and rain, race against time, and work with all levels and sectors to soon complete the goals and targets of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

* On the same day, the Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to award decisions on promoting military ranks and raising officers' salaries in 2025. Colonel Nguyen Van Hung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command chaired the conference.

At the Conference, 65 comrades received decisions, including 34 lieutenants, 31 colonels promoted to military rank and 3 majors with increased salaries.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, praised the achievements, efforts in training and striving of the comrades who were promoted and raised in rank this time.
