Checking a factory in Hanoi, discovered products suspected of counterfeiting trademarks

According to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), the Market Management Department (under the Department) has just conducted a surprise inspection of Son Van Nam Production and Trading Company Limited, located in Hoa Tham hamlet, La Phu commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi city.

At the time of inspection, the factory was operating. Dozens of workers were arranging products by different brands in preparation for packaging.

The inspection team discovered that the factory was hiding many products bearing the brands UNIQLO, Slazenger... with signs of counterfeit production and fake origin.

The loom's data also contains templates showing various brands previously manufactured by the facility.

The inspection team also recorded a large number of stamps and labels with signs of counterfeit origin from Korea, Japan, etc.

Comparing invoices from suppliers, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development temporarily seized a large quantity of raw materials, labels, stamps, and nearly 10,000 pairs of socks with signs of fake origin and brand.

All machinery was also sealed for further verification and clarification. Authorities said that if there are signs of criminality after verification, the case will be transferred to the police for investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
