With the synchronous implementation of many solutions, the province's international economic integration process has achieved many outstanding results. According to the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, since the beginning of 2024, the province's industrial parks have attracted over 100 new investment projects, bringing the total number of projects to 667, including 386 FDI projects and 281 domestic projects with a total investment capital of over 7.1 billion USD and over 58,300 billion VND. Mr. Le Nguyen Ngoc, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said: The effective implementation of FTAs, especially new generation FTAs such as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the European Union - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), the Vietnam - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA), the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) ... in the province has brought many positive results, creating opportunities for businesses to expand, diversify export markets and participate more deeply in the global supply chain. Through the implementation of FTAs, it also shows that businesses in the province have expressed their response to positive changes in the business environment, administrative procedures in addition to tariff incentives when exporting goods to markets of countries with which Vietnam has signed FTAs.

The outstanding results achieved in implementing Resolution No. 93 and Directive No. 38 show that the work of international economic integration has always been of interest to the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in the province, with focused leadership and close direction. Participation in new generation FTAs helps enterprises in the province export goods to many different markets, especially large markets such as Japan, Korea, EU, USA, China, India, etc.

Based on the achieved results, in the coming time, Ha Nam province will continue to direct the promotion of information, propaganda, and dissemination of knowledge on international economic integration, especially new generation FTAs to take advantage of opportunities to promote the export of goods in the area. Along with that, innovate investment attraction methods, focusing on attracting FDI projects from countries with high technology, large investment capital, and environmental friendliness; focus on implementing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles to promote production and business development; promote image promotion and tourism promotion to widely promote the image, cultural history, and people of Ha Nam to domestic and foreign friends; improve the quality of trade promotion activities to support businesses in expanding product consumption markets.
