In recent years, the work of developing the Party among students has been paid attention to and effectively implemented by Party committees, unions and schools in the province. Under the roofs of schools, many "red seeds" have sprouted and developed, contributing to supplementing resources and strength for the Party.
Part 1 : Young leaders
Being able to join the Party while still in school is an honor and pride for any student. It is also a milestone and motivation for them to continue training, striving, and becoming the "red seeds" of the Party.
Joined the Party at the age of 18
Recently, at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site (Phuoc Tan Village, Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City), Nguyen Dinh Phong (a student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted) nervously read the oath at the party admission ceremony. He was moved to express his thanks to the party members in the Party Cell for their care and guidance. Phong was even more moved when his mother - a party member and soldier - also attended the ceremony. "Being admitted to the Party at the red address is a source of pride for me and my family. I will strive to study and follow the example of beloved Uncle Ho," the 18-year-old young party member said emotionally.

During his years at school, Phong not only achieved good academic results, but also participated actively in extracurricular activities. In grade 5, Phong won first prize in the National Excellent Student Competition; in grade 6, he represented the province to attend the national children's forum and was the youngest person to speak at the forum. In grade 12, Phong won second prize in Physics in the provincial team selection exam for the national excellent student competition, along with a series of awards, certificates of merit, and certificates of merit at all levels. Phong is also a "familiar face" in a number of large and small debate programs for students. In 2022, this bright-eyed boy was the founder and head of the YOLO Debate Club and the Social Work Team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted with more than 60 members from 3 high schools. With the funds raised by the team members themselves from selling iced tea, burnt rice, etc., Phong and the Social Work Team have maintained regular monthly activities, such as: Teaching at Phat Buu Pagoda (Ninh Hoa town); giving gifts at Thanh Son Pagoda (Cam Lam district); giving free meals to poor patients in Nha Trang city; picking up trash on the beach; promoting environmental protection; training and developing skills for young people, etc. Currently, the Social Work Team has 2 members who are outstanding masses to develop the Party.
Exciting student life
At the end of 2022, Bo Bo Thi Minh Thu was the first female ethnic minority student of Khanh Hoa University to be admitted to the Party. The Secretary of the Youth Union of Literature Class K4 (majoring in literature - journalism and communication) experienced difficult days when her father fell ill and was bedridden, and her mother was often sick and unable to work. After her father passed away, Thu's family became poor. The journey of the female student from the mountainous district of Khanh Son to study far from home, which was already difficult, became even more difficult. However, the spirit of a young party member helped Thu overcome it, continue to strive to study and "burn" herself out in movement activities.

Talking about the volunteering times, the girl with the bright smile became more and more excited. Those were the tense days during the Covid-19 outbreak in 2021, Thu and some people were on duty at Khanh Son pass, taking samples for testing and donating food and provisions to Nha Trang city; or joining the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities to organize candle lighting in gratitude, joining the Khanh Son District Youth Union to "light up the tradition" to celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day; the bustling days with the pink holiday volunteer campaign, supporting the exam season, cleaning up the beach, donating books and old clothes to the people of the Central region affected by floods... The conversation was still lively when Thu gently said goodbye because it was time to go to Khanh Son stone guitar class. “After finishing this class, I will continue to learn to play the ma la. I want to maintain and spread the traditional culture of my locality to everyone. Later, even though I am no longer a member of the Youth Union, I will still participate in movements to contribute to my homeland…”, Thu said amidst the clear laughter of the children of Ta Nia village, Son Trung commune (Khanh Son district)…
Growing up with the movement
On the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, December 22, 2022, at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Site (Cam Lam District), Nguyen Thi Cam Tu, a final-year student of the Faculty of Travel Management - Tour Guide (Nha Trang College of Tourism) was honored to read the oath and receive the decision to join the Party. The dynamic and good-singing member of the Executive Committee of the School Youth Union has actively contributed to many activities, such as: Green Summer in Khanh Vinh District; The 6th Provincial Self-made Training Equipment Competition in 2022; Mass Art Festival... Tu was awarded the title of Outstanding and Outstanding Student of Vocational Training Institutions in 2022 by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

It is from these activities that she has the opportunity to contribute, mature and is honored to be admitted to the Party while in her third year. This is an important milestone that helps Van Anh become more confident in promoting her own abilities. In her final year of school, Van Anh was in the top 10 outstanding faces of the school in 2022; an outstanding "5 good" student at the provincial level in the 2021-2022 school year. Van Anh's enthusiastic and passionate spirit inspired her classmates, helping many students become more enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic...
Reality shows that wherever the Party Committee pays attention to and focuses on training and creating resources, the work of developing Party members achieves good results. Promoting the development of Party members who are students not only helps Party cells and Party Committees fulfill their targets, but also contributes to rejuvenating and improving the quality of Party members, supplementing resources and strength for the Party.
“Being admitted to the Party at the age of 18 is an important milestone that helps me have the right direction for myself, and is also a great encouragement for me to continue to realize my youthful ambitions. I will try harder, be a leading example, and devote myself to the community,” shared young Party member Nguyen Dinh Phong.
