The news that Ky Duyen will be appearing in Tran Thanh's 2025 Lunar New Year film "The Four Vengeful Spirits" has garnered significant public attention. Many viewers are wondering why the beauty queen was chosen to star in the film despite her lack of acting experience.

Sharing about her debut role, Ky Duyen said that she had taken an acting course and received an invitation to audition for the film from Tran Thanh's team.

Initially, she was quite surprised because she didn't expect to be invited to audition for a Lunar New Year film by a well-known director. However, the beauty queen still tried her luck, and only on her second audition did she get the role.

She also revealed that she doesn't rely on connections or fame to get roles. Ky Duyen admitted that Tran Thanh is demanding and meticulous, so he carefully selects actors for his film projects.

Regarding the timing of filming "The Four Vengeful Spirits," Ky Duyen said she accepted the project before participating in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 competition.

Reportedly, after announcing the four main cast members – Le Giang, Le Duong Bao Lam, Tran Thanh, and Uyen An – the producers of the film "The Four Contenders" announced additional young faces on the morning of December 12th.

Among them are three notable figures: Miss Tiểu Vy, Miss Kỳ Duyên, and Quốc Anh.

The released poster is striking, depicting all three characters seemingly locked in a struggle within their relationship.

The appearance of two famous beauty queens in a film has attracted the audience's attention.

This is also the first time Ky Duyen has participated in a feature film, and she's also a part of a complex love triangle, so her performance is something to look forward to.

Tran Thanh's film will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Snake 2025.
