Painter Doan Viet Tien, 62 years old, won a Vietnamese record for his talent of painting portraits using 10 fingertips instead of brushes.

Commemorating the 22nd anniversary of musician Trinh Cong Son's death (April 1, 2001 - April 1, 2023), painter Doan Viet Tien created a large-scale portrait of the artist he admired. On this occasion, he talked about his pursuit of painting, practicing the technique of reverse painting on tempered glass with 10 fingertips. In February, he was awarded the title of record holder by the Vietnam Record Organization for his talent in painting in this form.
Doan Viet Tien was born in 1961 in Ben Tre. In 30 years of creative work, he has created more than 1,500 works, including many portraits of famous people, artists, and politicians .
