After finishing the 60-minute English test (general), most candidates commented that the test was not too difficult, but getting a score of 10 was not easy. Candidate Cao Thai Anh, class 9D6, Tran Hung Dao Secondary School (Tuy Hoa City) shared: “The general English test was not too difficult. The test had 44 questions, of which the most difficult were questions 32 to 36 in the reading comprehension section. Of which, about 40% were recognition, 30% understanding, 20% application, and 10% high-level application. With this test, I got over 8 points.” According to Thai Anh, in the 3 subjects of the test, Math, Literature, and General English. With this test, I could get over 9 points in Math, and 8 points in Literature and English each. As for the Computer Science subject, the test is computer programming (programming language ++, Python with a level of understanding of 35%, application of 50% and high application of 15%). This test is difficult, you can probably get more than 10 points/20 points.

On the afternoon of June 3, candidates took the specialized subject exam, with a time limit of 150 minutes per subject. This is a very important exam to compete for admission to specialized classes, so the exam questions are highly differentiated. Evaluating the final day of the exam, Director of the Department of Education and Training Tran Khac Le said that during the 2 days of the entrance exam to grade 10 at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, security, order, safety, and regulations were ensured, and there were no cases of violations of exam regulations. After the exam ended, the Department of Education and Training will grade the exam and is expected to return the results on June 9.
