On the afternoon of August 18, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City coordinated with the Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU), Da Nang University and IEG Global Joint Stock Company to organize the closing ceremony of the 25th International Mathematics Competition - VIMC 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that this year's exam gathered 553 candidates from 29 countries and territories along with the host team Vietnam, creating an exciting, pure and friendly atmosphere.
“I believe that each student will bring back not only the results of an exam, but also international friendships and unforgettable experiences in this hospitable land. Hopefully, the love of mathematics, the spirit of creativity and the desire to conquer knowledge will continue to accompany the students on the road ahead,” Mr. Tuan shared.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee (OC) awarded prizes at 3 levels: individual, team and whole group.
The overall championship went to the Vietnam and Singapore teams. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded cultural exchange prizes, game prizes, individual prizes, individual team prizes, collective team prizes and grand prizes.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded the IMC 2026 hosting flag to the Mongolian team.
The overall championship belongs to the Vietnam and Singapore teams.

The International Mathematics Competition (IMC) is one of the prestigious competitions for secondary school students, held in rotation in member countries, attracting candidates from more than 40 countries and territories.
VIMC 2025 in Da Nang City takes place from August 14, according to international standards.
Students compete in two categories: Key Stage II (grades 5-6) and Key Stage III (grades 7-8), going through two mandatory rounds: individual and team.
With the success of the exam, Da Nang City has affirmed its position as an international academic destination, while leaving a beautiful impression in the hearts of international friends with the image of a peaceful , creative and integrated city.
