Co May Dormitory (HCMC) has just opened the admission round for the 2025-2026 school year, selecting 100 students to live in this dormitory.
According to Mr. Huynh Vo Nhat Huy - Head of the Co May Dormitory Management Board, with the desire to "follow the footsteps of poor students who study well", in the 2024 - 2025 school year, this dormitory will continue to open a selection period for new students with especially difficult circumstances, who study well to support and give them the opportunity to continue their education.
The subjects and criteria for admission to Co May dormitory are new students with difficult circumstances, orphans, and those who do not have enough finances to continue their studies; excellent high school students (priority is given to excellent students at district, provincial, city, and national levels); high school graduation exam scores in 2025 above 20 points; high results in the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam (if any).
Students admitted to Co May dormitory will receive free accommodation and monthly food allowance, health insurance and accident insurance, 100% tuition support for the first year and according to dormitory regulations for the following years.
In addition, students are also supported with the cost of studying IT, foreign languages and participating in soft skills activities, extracurricular activities, dormitory clubs and personal development programs.
Co May Dormitory was built in 2016 according to the wish of Mr. Pham Van Ben - owner of Co May private enterprise, with the desire to follow in the footsteps of poor, good students.
After 9 years of establishment and operation, this dormitory has supported more than 1,000 students and helped hundreds of dreams of escaping poverty through education.
2025 is the 10th year of continued selection to help students with especially difficult family circumstances who study well and do not have the conditions to continue their education and complete university.

The application process is in two steps:
Step 1: Fill in all information at the link: ktxcomay.com.vn/dangkytuyensinh2025 from now until August 23.
Step 2: Submit paper documents directly at the Co May Dormitory Office or by post , the deadline for receiving documents is August 25 (based on the postmark).
Application documents, including:
- Application form for admission to Co May dormitory, students print from website www.ktxcomay.com.vn.
- Photocopy of high school transcript.
- Academic achievements: certificates, awards, prizes (photocopy).
- Poor household book, near-poor household certificate, certificate of difficult family circumstances certified by local authorities.
- University admission notice for the 2025-2026 school year
- Score report of the school's or Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam (if any).
- Personal resume with photo and local confirmation stamp.
- 3 certified photocopies of citizen identification cards.
- 3 4 x 6cm photos, clearly write information including full name and year of birth on the back of the photo.
- 1 photo of the house you are living in (photo size 15 x 20cm).
- Letter of recommendation from high school teacher or local representative of residence with contact information.
Note: All students must write an essay about themselves, their family and their dreams in their application (no more than 1,000 words).
