As of the afternoon of December 15th, medical facilities recorded 129 cases with food poisoning symptoms seeking examination and treatment, an increase of 29 cases compared to the previous afternoon. All patients reported having consumed Hong Van bread. Currently, the patients' health is stable, with no severe cases; 44 people have been discharged, and the rest continue to be monitored and treated.
Upon inspection, the Hong Van establishment failed to present complete legal documents and did not meet food safety standards. The Provincial Center for Disease Control took 17 food samples and 6 biological samples for testing; simultaneously, all remaining food was sealed, and the Hong Van bread stalls were ordered to temporarily cease operations pending the official conclusion.
