First exhibition about Uncle Ho held at EXPO 2025 Japan

The exhibition is organized by the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of International Cooperation, to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the 52nd anniversary of the official establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang - Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Deputy General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 - said that this is the first time an exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh has been held at a world exhibition.

"President Ho Chi Minh 's entire life is a living testament to his dedication to work and his aspiration to contribute to the country and humanity for a better world - values ​​that are completely in tune with the theme and spirit of EXPO 2025," said Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang.

Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, said that the exhibition introduces to visitors to EXPO 2025 valuable documents and images, reflecting the life, career, thoughts and feelings of President Ho Chi Minh - a great leader but extremely close and simple.

Taking place from May 23 to 25 at the Vietnam Exhibition Hall at EXPO 2025, the exhibition also brings valuable film footage about diplomacy under the Ho Chi Minh era, helping to better understand President Ho Chi Minh - the builder of international solidarity.

After EXPO 2025, the exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh will continue to take place in Fukuoka city, Japan on May 28 and 29.

The Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 welcomes 7,000 - 9,000 visitors per day, said the Department of International Cooperation.

In May and June, the exhibition house coordinated with ministries, branches and localities to organize many activities to introduce and promote Vietnam such as: Vietnam National Brand Week (May 26 to June 1); Quang Ninh Week at EXPO 2025 (June 3 to 6); Quang Nam and Da Nang tourism promotion program (June 9 to 11); Binh Phuoc Week at EXPO 2025 (June 13 to 16)...
