First time honoring outstanding lawyers

At the ceremony, lawyer Do Ngoc Thinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Bar Federation, said: This is the first time the Vietnam Bar Federation has organized an event to honor outstanding lawyers and law practice organizations.

The vote aims to honor lawyers and law practice organizations that operate effectively, comply with the law and professional ethics; during their professional activities, they have made positive contributions to the protection of justice, the legal system, the rights and legitimate interests of clients; and contribute to socio- economic development and the building of a rule-of-law state.

According to lawyer Do Ngoc Thinh, the honor is an activity of the Vietnam Bar Federation in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Lawyers and the Charter of the Vietnam Bar Federation, aiming to gradually improve the quality of professional activities of lawyers and the quality of legal services of law practice organizations. Thereby, contributing to the development of the legal profession and the team of Vietnamese lawyers.

As of January 1, 2024, the Organizing Committee has received 114 applications from 24 Bar Associations nationwide to register to vote for the titles.

Of these, there are 42 applications for the title of "Outstanding Lawyer"; 32 applications for the title of "Outstanding Law Practice Organization" and 40 applications for the title of "Lawyer for the Community".

After the evaluation period, the Voting Council selected 18 lawyers and law practice organizations to honor the titles of "Outstanding Lawyer", "Outstanding Law Practice Organization" and "Lawyer for the Community".

6 "Outstanding Lawyers" for the period 2021 - 2023:

1. Lawyer Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh, Hanoi Bar Association;

2. Lawyer Nguyen Dinh Tho, Khanh Hoa Provincial Bar Association;

3. Lawyer Le Hong Nguyen, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association;

4. Lawyer Dang Thi Ngoc Hanh, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Bar Association;

5. Lawyer Nguyen Trong Diep, Nghe An Provincial Bar Association;

6. Lawyer Ta Quang Tong, Dak Lak Provincial Bar Association.

1. LNT & Partners Law Firm LLC, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association;

2. Dong Phuong Law Company Limited, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association;
