Shocking video shows some teenagers jumping on a bus while others start a huge brawl after storming Millennium Park and trying to break through barriers.
Gunfire erupted in the crowd, injuring two teenagers, aged 16 and 17. The two teenagers were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A total of 15 people, including nine adults and six teenagers, were arrested.

Police said most of the charges were for reckless conduct, but a 16-year-old boy was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon and a gun was recovered. Another adult and a juvenile were charged with using a stolen vehicle.
According to NBC Chicago , the street gatherings were said to be “juvenile in nature,” extending the call to youths across the city. The April 15 incident came a day after a 14-year-old boy was shot at another gathering.
During the chaos on the evening of April 15 (local time), a driver was attacked and taken to the hospital. According to the posted video, it seems that the police were unable to control the crowd and tried to help innocent bystanders and tourists to safety.

"It was heartbreaking, kids fighting, chasing each other, some of them had guns," an anonymous witness told NBC News . The witness added that police were unable to control the crowd because there were too many of them.
A woman told FOX 32 Chicago that multiple people jumped on her car windshield and smashed it, then attacked her husband who was sitting in the car.
Some reports claim that nearly 1,000 teenagers were present at the "teen trends" event, although the actual number has not been confirmed.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said that while many young people gather to have a good time and enjoy the weather, others engage in “reckless, unruly and unlawful behavior.” Police said they would take steps to address “youth trends” during the summer months.
According to ABC 7 Chicago , police said at least 32 people were shot and 8 people were killed in gun violence over the weekend across Chicago.
