Provincial leaders visited and celebrated Ramưwan New Year in Phan Thanh

On the morning of March 14, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, led by Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and wished Ramưwan New Year to the Cham people following the Bani Islam in Phan Thanh commune, Bac Binh district.

The delegation visited the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phan Thanh commune, the Executive Board of 3 villages: Canh Dien, Thanh Kiet, Chau Hanh and 3 prestigious people: Mr. Dong Gach (Canh Dien village), Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (Thanh Kiet village), Mr. Xich Ngoc Vang (Chau Hanh village); visited Chau Hanh pagoda and Elder Monk Dang Thi, Thanh Kiet pagoda and Elder Monk Xich Du, Canh Dien pagoda and sent gifts to Elder Monk Khe Khoi; wished a happy new year to the family of Mr. Dang Che Hoa - former Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee (Canh Dien village) and the family of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Thanh Man (Canh Dien village).

Currently, people are harvesting the winter-spring rice crop, with a yield of 8 quintals/sao, high selling price. In particular, in 2023, Binh Thuan was chosen to host the National Tourism Year, creating an opportunity for the local tourism industry to develop strongly, bringing many jobs to the people. Not only sightseeing, tourists also learn about the cultural characteristics and customs of ethnic groups, including Cham culture. Therefore, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the local government and people will work together and be determined to continue to maintain the new rural criteria, towards building advanced new rural areas; preserving the rituals and traditional beauty of their people. Learn about pilot planting of new high-yield rice varieties to increase income, bringing a more fulfilling life. In addition, the clans and followers in the commune always uphold the spirit of solidarity, set good examples, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in the locality, contributing together with other ethnic groups in the province to successfully complete the socio-economic targets in 2024.
