Provincial leaders visit former Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Khamtay Siphandone

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong signed the condolence book at the funeral of comrade Khamtay Siphandone at the Embassy of the Lao PDR.

Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong sent condolences to the staff of the Embassy of the Lao PDR in Vietnam. On behalf of the delegation, he was moved to write in the condolence book, which read: "Deeply mourning General Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President of the Lao PDR, a close friend, a loyal and devoted comrade of the Party, State and People of Vietnam. Throughout his career, Comrade Khamtay Siphandone made great contributions to the cause of protecting, building and developing Laos; at the same time, he always had deep affection and valuable support for the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the Lao PDR and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong expressed condolences to the Embassy of the Lao PDR in Vietnam.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Tuyen Quang province, I would like to send my deepest condolences to the Lao Party, State and people, and the entire family of comrade Khamtay Siphandone.
