Before the spirit of Uncle Ho, the Party and State leaders respectfully expressed their infinite gratitude for his contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. He devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading our Party and people to glorious victories. Carrying out Uncle Ho's sacred will, our entire Party, army and people completed the cause of liberating the South, reunifying the country, and leading the whole country to build socialism.

50 years ago, April 30, 1975 entered the history of the nation as a brilliant milestone. The General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975, culminating in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, completely liberated the South and reunified the country. From then on, our entire Party, people and army focused their strength and intelligence on healing the wounds of war, actively building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

After nearly 40 years of renovation, our country has been developing more and more and is determined with the highest will to lead the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, firmly entering a new era - the era of national development. This is also the mission of the Party and the whole nation to realize His wish for a strong, prosperous Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

After visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense, and commemorated the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Memorial on Bac Son Street.

In a solemn atmosphere, Party and State leaders expressed their gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.

* On the same morning, the delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi led by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly delegation of Hanoi laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
