Consulting on the draft Decree on decentralization and delegation of power of the Industry and Trade sector

(DN)-On May 27, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held an online conference to collect opinions on the Draft Decree regulating the decentralization and decentralization of state management in the fields of industry and trade. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan chaired the conference.

The Government 's draft Decree on decentralization and delegation of state management in the industrial and commercial sectors consists of 25 chapters and 63 articles; adjusting the decentralization and delegation of 23 state management sectors with changes in authority such as oil and gas, chemicals, industrial promotion, trade promotion, markets, occupational safety and hygiene, electrical safety, etc. It is expected that the total number of tasks delegated to local authorities in the industrial and commercial sectors will increase from 60 to 208 tasks (3.5 times higher than the present) and account for 52% of the total number of tasks requiring decentralization and delegation.

Representatives of localities expressed high consensus with the draft content, and at the same time made a number of specific contributions, clarifying the scope of the decree, corresponding procedures, implementation resources; detailing the regulations...

Based on the discussion and comments, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan directed the Legal Department and units under the ministry to listen, absorb and speed up the drafting and review process carefully to complete the draft decree to submit to the Government within the allowed time.
