Keel-laying ceremony for new high-speed patrol boat for Vietnam Coast Guard

On the afternoon of May 26, at Phu My 2 Industrial Park (Phu My City), Ba Son Corporation held a keel-laying ceremony for the new high-speed patrol boat TT-400, number 13, for the Vietnam Coast Guard Command.

The TT-400 high-speed patrol boat was technically designed by the Naval Technical Institute and the Navy Military Ship Registration Center approved the design documents.

The ship has a maximum length of 54.72m, a maximum width of 9.34m, a maximum speed of 34 nautical miles/hour, a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles, continuous operation time of up to 30 days and nights, and the ability to withstand level 8 waves and level 9 winds.

The ship is modernly designed, integrating many outstanding technical and tactical features, effectively meeting the requirements of deploying law enforcement missions at sea, protecting sovereignty , sovereign rights, national jurisdiction and national security in Vietnam's waters.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Quoc Truong, General Director of Ba Son Corporation, said that the project to build a new high-speed patrol boat TT-400 is being implemented according to technical requirements, ensuring quality and progress.

Ba Son Corporation commits to focus all the best resources to construct the project, strictly comply with the criteria of safety, quality, aesthetics, complete and hand over the product on schedule to the Vietnam Coast Guard.
