Taking place over two days, November 1-2, at the European Square - Vinhomes Royal Island (Vu Yen Island, Hai Phong ), the event attracted a large number of people and tourists, creating a bustling atmosphere in the port city.
Hai Phong organizes K-Food Fair for the first time
If in the past, to join in the big Korean cultural festivals, people in the North often had to travel to Hanoi , then this year, the K-Food Fair held for the first time in Hai Phong marked a turning point for the port city - an urban area that is strongly growing on the international event map.
The festival space is vividly recreated in Korean style, from colorful food stalls to cultural, art and entertainment experience areas. Attendees can experience Korean culture right in Hai Phong.

The highlight of the event was the famous Korean cuisine, where people could enjoy a series of famous delicacies: from kimbap, tokbokki, fish cakes, fried chicken, cheese hotdogs... to genuine imported products such as red ginseng extract, ginseng, seaweed, Korean pears and many health care and consumer products that are popular in the "land of kimchi".

In addition to cuisine, K-Food Fair also offers many experiences such as making kimchi - a dish that symbolizes Korean culture; energetic K-Dance and Random Dance playgrounds for young people and a cultural experience area for children and families to learn about Korean art, language, writing and lifestyle.

Ms. Nguyen Thao (37 years old, Hai An ward) shared: “Hai Phong has never had such a large and well-organized Korean festival. Not only the youth but also my whole family are excited. Children can play, adults can enjoy food and watch performances. From now on, if we want to experience international events, we don’t have to go far anymore.”
Not only a food festival, K-Food Fair 2025 also brings a vibrant atmosphere to the port city with the Vietnam - Korea Grand Music Festival taking place on the evening of November 1. The stage is invested in a modern way with a large LED screen system, professional sound and lighting, creating impressive experiences for the audience.
The program gathered many popular artists, including Cong Duong - a familiar face to young people with a friendly performance style and Tang Duy Tan - the owner of many outstanding hits (favorites), receiving enthusiastic cheers from Hai Phong audiences.

The most anticipated moment of the show was the performance of Jiyeon (T-ARA), a Korean singer familiar to Vietnamese audiences.
Performing for the first time in Hai Phong, Jiyeon made the atmosphere on stage explode when thousands of fans sang songs associated with the youth of many generations.
The stage was lit up by the lights from the stands, as the female singer performed the songs Roly Poly, 1 Min 1 Sec with her signature, captivating dance moves.

On the evening of November 2, the K-POP Dance Festival Finale with a spectacular fireworks display ended the festival with brilliant moments on the sky of Vu Yen Island - marking K-Food Fair as an emotional event for the people of the port city.
Vu Yen becomes the new center of the international festival, elevating the cultural and entertainment experience of the people.
It is no coincidence that K-Food Fair was chosen to be held on Vu Yen Island. This is an important piece in the journey to make Hai Phong a new destination for international events.
With the appearance of Vingroup's entertainment - shopping - tourism - sports ecosystem such as Vincom Mega Mall Royal Island, VinWonders Vu Yen, Vinpearl Golf, Vinpearl Horse Academy and many new amenities in the future, Vu Yen is quickly becoming the new center of the port city.

Events held in Vu Yen in recent times have contributed to enriching the spiritual life of the people of the port city - a place that stands out with its strong identity and openness to new cultural trends.
If in the past, international festivals were often concentrated in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, the increasing appearance of large-scale events in Vu Yen shows that Hai Phong is gradually asserting its new position, ready to make its mark on the "festival map" of the Northern region.
Set within the cooperation journey between Vingroup, the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korean Agricultural and Fisheries Association in ASEAN (AT Center) in recent years, K-Food Fair 2025 is a meaningful step forward.
Previously, the two sides brought Korean culture closer to the community through K-Food Fair 2023 in Ocean City and a series of Korean activities during the opening of the K-Town commercial area. The fact that K-Food Fair was brought to Hai Phong this year demonstrates confidence in the city's cultural and tourism development potential, while affirming a long-term vision in expanding international exchanges.
This event not only brings exciting experiences during the two-day festival, but also starts the journey of bringing more international festivals to Hai Phong in the future, contributing to creating a new look for the cultural - tourism - entertainment life of the port city in the coming years.

K-Food Fair 2025 has ended with hundreds of thousands of visitors attending during 2 days, a series of memorable moments and beautiful echoes of a dynamic, integrated and vibrant port city.
Hai Phong has proven that when there is the right space, the community is ready to give their all, and Vu Yen is the new meeting place for international festivals in the future.
