Festival For Peace 2024 with the theme "Joining hands to build a peaceful world"

With the approval of the Prime Minister, Quang Tri province is organizing the 2024 Peace Festival with the theme "Joining Hands to Build a Peaceful World." This is the first peace festival of its kind to be held in Quang Tri and Vietnam, aiming to honor the value of peace, pay tribute to war heroes and martyrs, commemorate war victims; contribute to enhancing the status and image of Vietnam and its people; and build Quang Tri into a cultural space for peace, a destination for peace, a meeting place for peace-loving friends from all over the world. Especially in the context of ongoing conflicts in the world, the Peace Festival, held in Quang Tri, a land once ravaged by war, a place where "sacred land blossoms with the flower of peace," will convey a message about the indomitable spirit of the Vietnamese people who cherish peace, calling on humanity to join hands in building lasting peace in the world.
