Wreath-laying and incense-offering ceremony at Dak Glei District Martyrs Cemetery

On the morning of May 16, the People's Committee of Dak Glei district held a ceremony to pay tribute, lay wreaths and offer incense at the district's Martyrs' Cemetery to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Dak Pek Victory and complete liberation of Dak Glei district (May 16, 1974 - May 16, 2024).

Attending the funeral were leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Glei district, agencies, departments and branches of the district and Dak Pek commune.

Also attending the funeral were leaders of Cai Be District People's Committee ( Tien Giang Province), veterans who participated in destroying Dak Pek stronghold, liberating Dak Glei and people in the district.

At the ceremony, delegates offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and expressed their feelings and gratitude to those who have contributed to the country.
