The third night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) will take place at 8:00 p.m. on June 14 with a competition between Canada and China. These two countries with a tradition of artistic fireworks promise to bring a spectacular night of light on the Han River.

On the night of June 14 on the Han River in Da Nang, Orion Fireworks brought the work "Star Dust - Magic Starlight".

Under the hands of creative designer Patrick Chandonnet, "Magic Starlight" is built as a symphony of light with three chapters: starting with inner awakening, followed by a deep dialogue with oneself and ending with sublimation in aspirations, in dreams reached.

Orion Fireworks will lead viewers through every range of emotions, painting a journey beyond limits to shine like stars in the universe.

With absolutely precise fireworks control techniques, combined with emotional songs like Power of love, Leviathan or Never give up on your dreams , the Canadian representative hopes to bring an eye-catching performance true to its reputation.

China's "Journey to the West" fireworks display

The third competition night of DIFF 2025 is one of the most anticipated nights for audiences, marking the return of the reigning runner-up Jiangxi Yangfeng from China - the country known as the cradle of fireworks art.

Having made a big splash at DIFF 2024, Jiangxi Yangfeng conquered both the judges and the audience with its own unique fireworks style.

This year, Jiangxi Yangfeng returns to Da Nang and will present a fireworks display called "Journey to the West". The performance is inspired by the classic Chinese masterpiece by author Wu Cheng'en.

With the background music of Dare to ask where is the road - the ending song of the 1986 film Journey to the West , the Chinese team recounts unrequited love, internal conflicts between reason and desire, between humans and gods, aspects rarely mentioned in the original story.

"We are one of the top fireworks teams in China," said Liang Weiming, team captain of Jiangxi Yangfeng.

The combination of traditional fireworks techniques and modern equipment systems used at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar promises to help Jiangxi Yangfeng create a night of fireworks that is both fierce and sophisticated, as expected by DIFF-loving audiences.

The final night will take place between the two best teams of the tournament on the evening of July 12. The program will be broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television.
