Land plot No. 1 Ly Thai To (Vuon Lai ward), where Ho Chi Minh City plans to build a park and a symbolic project to recognize the solidarity and unity of the city's people in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, is being cleared and prepared.

Recorded on November 3, inside the land of more than 4 hectares, trees grow densely, creating a large green area in the heart of the city. Seen from above, this area looks like a tropical forest in the center of Saigon, surrounded by busy roads and houses.

Groups of workers are operating mini excavators to clear bushes, weeds, collect rubbish and trim weeds. Motor vehicles are mobilized to gather along the area of ​​the old Government Guest House. Many corrugated iron sheets are gathered, ready to be brought out to surround the construction site before construction.

At the same time, workers are installing fences around the land along Ly Thai To Street.

According to the plan, this place will become a public space combined with a symbolic work representing the solidarity of Ho Chi Minh City people in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, a stop to look back on the city's resilient journey.
