Provincial Labor Federation organizes the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2025

BHG - On the morning of April 25, at the Wood Manufacturing and Processing Factory, Thai Hoang Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, Vinh Tuy Town (Bac Quang), the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a ceremony to launch the Workers' Month and respond to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) in 2025, aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). Attending the event were comrade Tran Van Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; leaders of Bac Quang district and union members and workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Van Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, emphasized: This year's Workers' Month was chosen by the General Confederation with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneer Entering the New Era", which is a call for the sense of responsibility, pride, and dedication of the workforce, the force that directly creates material wealth, contributing to bringing the country into a new era, the era of national development. In addition, the Occupational Safety and Health Action Month with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", emphasizes the importance of occupational safety and hygiene, protecting the lives and health of workers, which is an important factor in the long-term development strategy and sustainable development of enterprises and society.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented more than 60 gifts to workers and supported 8 families of union members and workers in difficult circumstances to build Trade Union Shelters worth 60 million VND. Along with that, in the coming time, the provincial trade unions at all levels aim to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, civil servants and laborers, actively implementing activities in the "Workers' Month" in 2025; implementing the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", the program "Thanking workers" and the forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party".
