On the morning of December 15, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cooperative Union organized a conference to promote collective economy and cooperatives; display, promote and introduce typical products and OCOP products; sign a cooperation program between the Provincial Cooperative Union and provincial departments, branches and organizations for the period 2023 - 2028. More than 200 delegates representing leaders of departments, branches, units, cooperatives and members of the Provincial Cooperative Union attended.

The conference assessed the achievements, limitations and proposed solutions to further improve the efficiency of the collective economy and cooperatives in the province in the coming time. Up to now, the province has 158 cooperatives, 4 people's credit funds, 1 cooperative union. The total estimated operating capital is over 1,406 billion VND. Average revenue is 1.8 billion VND/cooperative; estimated profit is 245 million VND/cooperative. The cooperatives have attracted more than 13,200 regular workers, bringing in an average income of 40 million VND/person/year.

However, in addition to the achievements, the conference also frankly acknowledged that the collective economy and cooperatives in recent years still have many limitations. During their operations, cooperatives still face many difficulties and shortcomings from policies and regulations related to land procedures and loans; some cooperatives have not been completely reformed, are still operating at a low level, and are not very effective... The conference also proposed many solutions to further promote and improve the collective economy and cooperatives, including attention, facilitation, and support from relevant levels, departments, branches, and units.
